Reno Engineering Corporation (REC) provided the design for a State dedicated interchange. Services included, but were not limited to; project management, environmental studies, alignment studies, NEPA compliance, economic analysis, funding applications and lobbying, consultant team management and hydraulic design. Coordination efforts included; FHWA, Corp of Engineers, Union Pacific Rail Road, Paiute Gas Line, William Communications, Storey County, Washoe County and NDOT. REC services also included meeting with County and State Representatives to establish final interchange alignments and lane configurations as well as discussing additional planning aspects of the interchange. REC provided construction estimates to client and State for budgeting and bonding purposes respectively. In addition, REC provided continuous construction support by answering contractors’ questions and meeting with them in the field when necessary to keep the job going on schedule.

REC services also included meeting with County Representatives to establish final roadway alignments and lane configurations as well as discussing additional planning aspects of the interchange. REC provided construction estimates to client for budgeting purposes. In addition, REC provided continuous construction support by answering contractors’ questions and meeting with them in the field when necessary to keep the job going on schedule. REC provided bidding services for client for all portions of the roadway.
