- Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Street Construction and Rehab
Reno Engineering has prepared thousands of pages of roadway design plans and specs for projects identical to those required for RTC. Most notably are the 100 lane-miles of public roadways in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center prepared since 2000. We have also prepared plans and specs for privately funded public roadways in conjunction with RTC, markedly, Double R Boulevard. We typically work on the developers behalf to negotiate fair design requirements with public agencies. We then design, entitle, bid and manage the construction of the improvements. A sample of our projects are below.
- Construction Management
REC has provided construction management on numerous privately funded public roadway projects. REC is the construction manger for all improvements being constructed within the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center and has acted as construction managers for privately funded public roadways, including Double R Boulevard.
- Environmental Studies
REC has prepared numerous environmental studies including the Environmental Assessment prepared for the Federal Highway Administration for the USA Parkway Interchange. With the assistance of the necessary specialists, REC can provide this service for clients.
